OSR is not forthcoming on a simple, innocuous request!!

The ATO Organisational Structure

TTR has tried to obtain the current Organisational Chart from the Queensland Commissioner only to be referred to the Queensland Treasury one which says nothing about the OSR. So, an RTI application has been lodged!

Goodness! What could be more innocuous than finding out who makes important decisions. Contrast, for example, the Victorian position  or the ATO position.

Readers will be informed when a response is received to the application. Any bets that the Director, Right to Information and Privacy, Queensland Treasury will be told by the OSR that the Organizational Chart requested does not exist (which brings into focus the Commissioner’s obligations under Public Records Act, discussed at tab “Public Records Act) or is confidential (which the chart is patently not). What ever happened to “Open and accountable” tax administration!!??
